The persimmon planted here is Japanese Fuyu persimmons which was brought to Moc Chau since 2000 and has become a local specialty so far. The harvest season of Moc Chau crispy persimmon lasts for two months, September and October, but many garden owners still keep the ripe persimmons so that the visitors could take great photos. At this time, the persimmon trees have lost all its leaves, revealing clusters of its fruits that stand out in the green space of the mountains.
